EXAMS (A Success message)

Today, I was inspired to pen down this message. The atmosphere of exams could be a tensed one, but we've got to reminder that it's just a game that we are meant to Win.

Exams aren't determinants of your Success or Fulfillment in life, they are ONLY ONE of the many ways YOU EXPRESS THAT INNATE EXCELLENCE that is RIGHT IN YOU. They aren't what to fear, they aren't a source of fear to dominate or oppress your mind. They are just games, where You've got to be the Winner!

If You're scared already before it even starts, then You're already losing the Game. You wanna win the Game? Kill the Fears! Kill the Self doubts! You know what the fear and doubt does to You? They only kill your time and suppress that Innate Excellence that is right in YOU. And You know that when your spirit is depressed, even what You are natural at becomes a stranger to You.

If those before You did it, You can do it! If those who birth the knowledge You learn, acquire and is required to reproduce were able to do it, then You Can! You've just got to play the game, and play smart; and put in the efforts that will make You feel the Victory even before it starts.
You just put in your best and with God beside You, Excellence will be evident in the results. It's a Success already!

Success Story: How I went from a CGPA of 2.29 to 4.00 within a Semester

This is a Success Story shared by Olusola O'sola Fapohunda, a graduate of the Federal University of Technology, Akure. ----- In early 2010, I went with about four other guys in my department - to visit our level registration officer. We wanted to check our result. Each one of us, was with a paper and a pen. The lecturer in charge asked for our matriculation numbers and one after the other, he was reeling off grades, GPA and CGPA. He eventually got to me and I heard a digit that sounded like I've been shot. God! Me! 2.29. I've earned myself Grade E in some three unit courses and my best course was APH301, which I had a B with a score of 69. You need a Mansion, Build On!

The Foundation is Important, Yes; so is the roofing too. Beautiful childhood memories I have, maybe the most beautiful ever told (at least that was the one I witnessed, don't know of any other). God bless our parents who wore us lovely clothes and took us to church, - to children ministry which was so much fun. Virtually everything was composed into song; Bible study, Memory verses, etcetera. There would always be rhyme and rhythm, melody and harmony. We would dance, sing on top of our voices, laugh so hard and feel all excited! I remember kingdom dance, we usually were the front liners shaking our entire being in our beautiful attires, panty hose and the rest. We would eat biscuits, celebrate birthdays, pray with tightly closed eyes, give special numbers... Why Pray? My Thoughts:

I have my thoughts about "Prayer". Personally, I had believed more on faith and confidence, than on Prayer. I say this because I've come across a number of persons who believe so much on Prayer, but cannot inspire or give someone some positive vibes in a time of difficulty. You see people who are fast to advise one to pray (and probably fast) when one shares a situation or personal challenge, without doing some brain work and examining physical factors that could've led to the person's challenge and then trying to ensure those physical factors are taken care of before going spiritual. Personally, when talking to people, once I'm trying to relate something with you and you're fast to throw in that spiritual leg, I stop and I'll probably not relate stuffs with you next time. I prefer one relates realistically and then back it up with some spirituality, than one trying to make a whole case of spirituality! Anyway, Prayer, Faith, Confidence were all mean...

Nothing happens on it's own, we live in a realm of cause and effect; sowing and reaping; give and take; garbage in, garbage out... Life can, to a good extent be predictable; nothing is new, just some kind of cycle... Principles guide life, break them and dance to whichever tune life plays for you. Grace, yes Grace, does not groom lazy men who sit with bowls waiting for manna rain. Grace empowers you to labour, opens new thought lines in your head, makes you smart, diligent and the boss in your game.
