You do not have to be Perfect

Before now I had always thought it was hypocritical or Pharisaical of me to tell others what's right to do when I myself have not fully gained success in some areas...
But I realize now that it's just a strategy of the devil to make me keep my mouth shut from saying what's true.

If you're waiting till when you're totally perfect in your practice of what's right before propagating or teaching others younger than you, then you may never get any chance at all to share the truth of what's right.

A hypocrite or a pharisee is one that gives others the impression that he doesn't make any mistake. But if you're the one that SINCERELY owns up to the truth of your short comings in your striving to live up to what's right, then don't let the devil or anyone condemn you, for you are not a hypocrite or a pharisee.

The very fact that you didn't score all 'A's in WAEC or come out top and with a First class in the University, doesn't make you less qualified to encourage your younger ones to do that. And if any of them (knowing that you had a second class lower) snaps back at you for trying to help, simply leave that one to learn by himself for that one does not have a learner's heart..
