It is Time

It's time to let go of something that no longer fits in with your present reality and your dream future. It's time to let go of control and let yourself be free like true love. It's time to face your shadows and unlock those invisible chains of guilt that have been holding you back. It's time to forgive that person so that the heaviness of your heart will reduce. It's time to confess that truth you have been hiding so your conscience can be clean. It's time to love someone deeply no matter the risk of heartbreak. It's time to dream again and let go of your fears. It's time to start working instead of wishing your life away. It's time to be the person you truly are instead of faking it till you make it. It's time to build your inner circle of love and growth instead of being with people that add no value to your life. It's time to work on your health so that your body will last longer on earth. It's time to give up those bad habits so that you will stop putting yourself in trouble. The only time has and will always be in the here and the now. Let the dead leaves drop.

I've thought about this for a while now, but I recently decided to check it up and I'll share what I learnt about the science. Principle versus Formula

Productivity is better than Activity and Principle is better than formula. Principles will birth productivity whereas Formulas will only produce activity. For example, It is possible to sleep four hours a day and achieve significantly less than someone who sleeps eight hours a day, while claiming anybody that sleeps above four hours is lazy. When it comes to success, there might be principles but not formulas (I mean mindless copying). Some people just copy too much, not seeing that a lot of factors are involved. The most important thing is to learn the principles and tailor it to your unique situation. Make your work time count. I remember students back in school who claimed to be reading all night (and they were) but had little or nothing to show in their result and there were others who never went through that stress and made straight A's. It is good to look out for working formulas but it's more important to know what works for you and so you can manipulate the formula...

I can remember my first steps going before a crowd. I was asked to take the Bible reading in Church on a Sunday. By the time I mounted the pulpit, I had to grip the pulpit for support because I just discovered that I could no longer stand straight again out of fear and nervousness. I was shaking like a dry leaf in harmattan. I felt I was going to have a seizure or just fall and embarrass my generation. My legs were wobbling, it was like I had no bone in them. I couldn't look at the crowd, it was terrible, and I can't remember how I survived the few minutes it took for me to finish the Bible reading. I never wanted to get there again, but next Sunday, I was back there, and the Sunday after that, and every other Sunday, and there we have it.
