Our Attitude and Disposition towards the race already puts us on a position tag

Yes! Mornings are always interesting, apart from you having to wake up by the sound of the drum team of a Primary School close to your house (you know how that feels right). You get to have your quiet time (kind of the most important part of my development).
So then while studying today (on the day this was written), the Holy Spirit taught me a wonderful principle (well, if you know it, that's good but for those who don't, it's for you too)

DO YOU NOT KNOW THAT IN A RACE, ALL THE RUNNERS RUN BUT ONLY ONE GETS THE PRIZE? RUN IN SUCH A WAY TO GET THE PRIZE (1 Corinthians 9:24)

Our attitude and disposition towards the race (whatever we're striving to be the best at) already puts us on a position tag. If our mindset is not to win, why race then? Let's Just go home and have pity party!
If we're not in it for the prize (the end result which is Success), let's go home! If we really want to get the prize, we must pay the price by running to get the prize. If we must win, we must do what needs to be done to win else we go home.
Imagine if we were put in a 100 metres dash with Usain Bolt, what's gonna be our disposition? Most of us would probably be counting and aspiring for 2nd Position and below. Believe me you, that alone, psychological has taken away some level of morale from you.

Tell yourself You've won. Prepare like You've won. Act like You've one. Run like You've won!
We must be prepared in all phase!
Don't procrastinate!
