There are No Limits if You See No Limits

I have two sons. One of them loves food so much that he eats food even in advance. The other keeps his food and eats it slowly so that it lasts longer. I respect both of their choices. I love both of them.

This morning (on the day this was written) as I gave one of them bread and he ate, I found him keep coming for more. But the only one 'serving' I gave to the other was still with him; being managed, so that it wouldn't finish on time. Both are my sons. Both are dearly loved by me. Both have their choices respected. Their choices do not make me love either of them less.

Stop accusing those that want more from God and more from life, of greed. Stop accusing them for desiring much. That one is contented with less does not make the one that wants more covetous. The Father is not complaining. He's got more than enough...

Success Story: How I went from a CGPA of 2.29 to 4.00 within a Semester

This is a Success Story shared by Olusola O'sola Fapohunda, a graduate of the Federal University of Technology, Akure. ----- In early 2010, I went with about four other guys in my department - to visit our level registration officer. We wanted to check our result. Each one of us, was with a paper and a pen. The lecturer in charge asked for our matriculation numbers and one after the other, he was reeling off grades, GPA and CGPA. He eventually got to me and I heard a digit that sounded like I've been shot. God! Me! 2.29. I've earned myself Grade E in some three unit courses and my best course was APH301, which I had a B with a score of 69. Why Pray? My Thoughts:

I have my thoughts about "Prayer". Personally, I had believed more on faith and confidence, than on Prayer. I say this because I've come across a number of persons who believe so much on Prayer, but cannot inspire or give someone some positive vibes in a time of difficulty. You see people who are fast to advise one to pray (and probably fast) when one shares a situation or personal challenge, without doing some brain work and examining physical factors that could've led to the person's challenge and then trying to ensure those physical factors are taken care of before going spiritual. Personally, when talking to people, once I'm trying to relate something with you and you're fast to throw in that spiritual leg, I stop and I'll probably not relate stuffs with you next time. The Foundation is Important, Yes; so is the roofing too. Beautiful childhood memories I have, maybe the most beautiful ever told (at least that was the one I witnessed, don't know of any other). God bless our parents who wore us lovely clothes and took us to church, - to children ministry which was so much fun. Virtually everything was composed into song; Bible study, Memory verses, etcetera. There would always be rhyme and rhythm, melody and harmony. We would dance, sing on top of our voices, laugh so hard and feel all excited! I remember kingdom dance, we usually were the front liners shaking our entire being in our beautiful attires, panty hose and the rest. We would eat biscuits, celebrate birthdays, pray with tightly closed eyes, give special numbers... As we grew older, you'll be questioned about your head covering, so much jewellery spaghetti handed dresses, etcetera (lol). We would go for camp meetings... Knowledge is obviously not the problem of our generation. Knowledge has greatly increased in our days, and keeps increasing by the day. I listen to people and I am amazed at how much they know. Knowledge about the things of God, especially, knows no bound. What then is our challenge? Application is. We are so busy acquiring, accumulating and dispensing knowledge that we do not have time left for application. Oh, my generation knows so much. But how much of what we know do we put to personal use? How much have we allowed all that we know to affect who we are and who we become? I am especially amazed when I see the way we dissect the Scriptures, and relate it to history, and give the original meanings of the words therein in their Greek translations and others.
