Lessons from Zimbabwe

On the day Vice President Mnangagwa of Zimbabwe was fired, he decided to leave the country quickly because he sensed danger. As he could not use a commercial flight, he called on two Indian brothers who were "his long term friends" to ask if he could use their private jet parked at Harare International Airport. The guys flatly refused to help Mnangagwa saying they did not want to jeopardize their business interests. Mnangagwa had to take the risk of leaving the country by road via Zimbabwe – Mozambique border.

The interesting news for the Indian friends was that last Friday, the man they refused to help when he desperately needed their help was sworn in as President of Zimbabwe.

Lessons:

1. Most people we call our friends will abandon us when we are down or when they think they can no longer benefit anything from us.

2. Never abandon your friends when they are down because you don't know what tomorrow may bring. Tables can turn when you least expect it.

3. Always be a True friend. The one who is a victim today may have victory tomorrow.
Be nice for once!
