When You drop the Wrong one, the Right one will come

I think I need to have an office in my kitchen because it seems to me like almost all my inspirations stem from there.

One day, Dave entered the kitchen and took an uncooked potato in his hands, crying to be allowed to eat it.
I said to him, "No drop that. That's not your food."
He refused.
He turned his back on me and was bent on eating the uncooked potato.
Unknown to him, I had already served his food and was only waiting for him to drop what he occupied his hands with so that I can give the food to him.
But David refused to drop the uncooked potato.
Then, I said to him, "See your food, David. Drop that one."
When he heard that, he turned to look at me and saw the food in my hands.
Immediately he saw the food, he dropped the uncooked potato and took his food with his two hands.
I smiled.

What is that thing God's been trying to get you to put down so that He can give you what is right for you?
For how long will you turn your back at Him and argue with Him?
Understand that He might not show you your food first like I did with David.
He might just want you to drop the potato in faith and trust Him to give you something right.
When you are ready, God is ready.
When you drop the wrong one, He'll put the right one in your hands...
