Saving – an Act and an Art

Who told you that saving is for losers and that you can't save money no matter how small to change your life?

In 2001, I saved 5000 naira under my bed till 2004 when I used the money to register for my GCE!

Yes, I know now that I could have invested the money and bla bla bla.
But That singler "act" saved my "art"
The game of money is both an "act" and an "art".

While saving money is the act, what you do with that savings is the art.

When David was going to kill Uriah, he gave two instructions to the commander of his army. He wrote: 1. Put him in the hottest part of the battle. 2. Withdraw from him in the heat of battle. It was the second command that killed Uriah, not the first. Uriah was a warrior. He was one of the mighty men of David. Such men loved the hottest part of the battle. What killed Uriah was not that he fought in the fiercest corner but that his company withdrew from him in the heat of battle. No matter how mighty you are in any area of life, you need a company. A lot of us have become used to using salt to kill earthworms when we encounter any in our houses. I've thought about this for a while now, but I recently decided to check it up and I'll share what I learnt about the science. Success Story: How I went from a CGPA of 2.29 to 4.00 within a Semester

This is a Success Story shared by Olusola O'sola Fapohunda, a graduate of the Federal University of Technology, Akure. ----- In early 2010, I went with about four other guys in my department - to visit our level registration officer. We wanted to check our result. Each one of us, was with a paper and a pen. The lecturer in charge asked for our matriculation numbers and one after the other, he was reeling off grades, GPA and CGPA. I and a friend discussed about this today, and he disagreed wholly, until I showed him the Word. I once used to pray like this whenever we were to go into an 'anointing service.' “We invite the Holy Spirit into this place.” “The Holy Spirit really showed up this morning!” If you have been a Christian for any amount of time, you have no doubt heard these expressions. This is a great inspiring book. I'm sure it must be a familiar one, especially since it's written by the well known neurosurgeon and politician (He's the current United States Secretary of Housing and Urban Development, under the Trump Administration), Benjamin Solomon Carson Sr. I read this book about four years ago. Just two years after our marriage, my husband brought up the idea of asking his Mother to move from the rural hometown and spend her remaining years with us. His father passed away while he was still very young. His mum endured much hardship and struggled all on her own to provide for him, and see him through to the University.
