Your Village people won't allow you to succeed in 2018.

The only reason you didn't achieve some of your goals last year was because your VILLAGE people are hardworking! They are the ones holding you back!

The people in your village are working against you, they've created a culture that is influencing the way you function. The funny thing is, you are giving them the permission to.

Don't you know that no one or nothing can influence you until you give them(it) the permission to?

What pricks me is that you have been aware of these for a very long time and you still give it the permission to influence you.

What if I tell you I know these village people of yours?
O yes! I know them!

They are your BELIEF SYSTEM, YOUR EXPERIENCE, HABITS AND YOUR MINDSET!

Whoever or whatever controls your mindset controls you and in this situation what controls you are your SELF LIMITING BELIEFS AND YOUR SELF LIMITING EXPERIENCE!

You function based on your self limiting beliefs, habits and experience.
These three chiefs in your village (Mindset) have created a culture that is controlling your destiny.

Your goals are the visitors that comes to your village and the visitors will respect whatever culture that is in existence.

The question is, is your culture supporting your goals?
Do you want to break out of the culture that is holding you back?
Do you want to transform those limiting beliefs, experience and habits to forces that will support and propel you to success?

Yesterday (on the day this was written), I watched Pastor Chris Oyakilome live as he preached. He used his iPad to read out scriptures. Later in the day, I saw a post on Instagram, and one guy like that insulted Pastor Chris for using iPad, instead of his Bible. I laughed at the man's ignorance. I remember an Uncle of mine was invited to a Church. He went there with his iPad, and someone asked him: "Sir, where is your Bible?” He showed him his 10.1 inches Pad. “But Sir,” he said, “This is not a Bible, this is iPad, you need to carry your Bible. You're not a good preacher, if you don't preach with your Bible," one of the pastors said. Now this is my point: Before the advent of printing press, the scriptures were originally written on a scroll! The ten commandments were written on a stone! Not on a Book called “Holy Book”. I've thought about this for a while now, but I recently decided to check it up and I'll share what I learnt about the science. I read this book about four years ago, and it was a big turning point for me. Much was learnt, I'll share few of them today. You should check it out. The lessons: Death begins when one stops learning, and ageing starts from one's mind, not one's body. One remains young as far as he or she keeps learning; One starts crashing once he or she stops pushing. One's ability to excel mentally is paralyzed once one stops trying and accepts that the results obtained is the best he or she can attain; One's life becomes a burden when one's life is void of progress. And when one's brain isn't working towards anything, it becomes a weight on the body. The brain is motivated when it sees something ahead, something to work towards for; One's success does not demand prayer and fasting, as much as engaging one's senses positively.
