Create Your Reality

By -

You're not here to face reality, you're here to create reality because if you don't, nobody will.

It's not enough breaking the rules, you've got to be strong enough to making your own rules and follow suite.

Truth be told, Lazy people are the most boring people on earth. All they do is talk about failed systems and how things could be better if this happen or that happens. They never move up the talk to how can we set things better?

People who wait for their dreams to be validated by others would never achieve anything in life.

Infact, a dream waiting to be validated by the external is internally incapable.
Don't just sit there and wish, shape your future with the tools of today. Nobody will do that for you! As a matter of fact, everybody is too busy facing their life that they have time less enough to sit with you and wail about wishful thinking.

Don't just dream about Success, work hard or smart for it!

Success is a result of consistency in actions towards a specific goal.

So if you're out there.... Get Busy!

Excuses are not results.
Get out there and do something.

Relationship Series (Introduction)

By -
Some years ago, I began to have some thoughts about life. Everyday, we come across people who put up false happiness. Everyone's trying to be truly happy, and everyone surely deserves that, because there's no life without happiness. But a lot of persons are much unhappy inside than they seem to be. Sometimes the pain they feel deep inside gets to a threshold, where they can't keep on putting up false happiness, and their true feelings are more often expressed. For a good number of persons, they redefine happiness, and their definition of happiness does not bring them true happiness, though it feels so at the beginning, but at the end, it only adds to the pain they already feel. At the same time, their search for happiness causes pains to others who are averagely happy or whose happiness is below average. Relationships are part of life. Everything about life thrives on relationship. For every society to be progressive, there must be a greater part of the society with posi...

Why Salt kills earthworms?

By -
Image
A lot of us have become used to using salt to kill earthworms when we encounter any in our houses. I've thought about this for a while now, but I recently decided to check it up and I'll share what I learnt about the science. Before that, I'll share some points about earthworms: - They are in the lumbricus genus, there are various species of earthworms, but the common earthworm's scientific name is lumbricus terrestris - Their digestive system runs through the length of their skin - Earthworms respire through their skin - They are hermaphrodites (each one carries both male and female sex organs) - They lack either an internal skeleton or exoskeleton , but maintain their structure with fluid-filled coelom chambers that function as a hydrostatic skeleton. Okay, let's talk about salt and earthworms: Earthworms respire and secrete mucus through their skins. Salt (sodium chloride) has the ability of absorbing moisture (desiccant). When a large quantity of salt i...

I am a member of "The Let's Talk About Series" community. I'll be sharing notes from Daniel Otabor on The Art of Leadership, a lesson delivered this year, in the month of January. Let's Talk About Series is a personal and career development discussion platform that discuss diverse topics to help boost people's productivity and build personal confidence. They are passionate about self discovery, and believe the strife for personal development helps in adding value to one's life; creating opportunities and setting priorities for the areas that make them most effective. You can check out the community on Facebook. ---------- Daniel Otabor : You know guys, Leadership is like the dilemma of life. It is both easy to understand and complex to grasp. Just like humans. This is because truly, Leadership begins and ends with understanding your purpose first, and then leading it. There was a time I told an audience that as long as you breathe, you are a leader....

Sir James Dyson is a British inventor, industrial designer and the founder of Dyson company. He's presently 70 years old (born in 1947). He was involved in some inventions including the sea truck in 1970, the Ballbarrow (his first original invention) and the Wheelboat, which can travel on both land and water. James Dyson is best know for inventing the Dual Cyclone bagless vacuum cleaner, the world's first bagless vacuum cleaner. Before it's invention, the hoover vacuum was in use but this vacuum had a dust bag which get clogged with dust and this affects its performance, as it losses suction. When he finally did at the age of 36, no distributor in the United Kingdom wanted to market his product. He had to market his product in Japan (1983) where it was awarded an industrial award. Three years later (1986), Dyson obtained his first US...

Don't let the experiences define You, no matter how much it tries to

Some people are afraid to hope because they have been hurt so much in life. They have had so many disappointments, they don't think they can face the pain of another one. Therefore, they refuse to hope so they won't be disappointed. This avoidance of hope is a type of protection against being hurt. Disappointment hurts! So rather than be hurt again, many people simply refuse to hope or to believe that anything good will ever happen to them. This type of behavior sets up a negative lifestyle. Everything becomes negative because the thoughts are negative. Remember Proverbs 23:7 – For as he (a person) thinks in his heart, so is he. By: Abeyi Kingsley Onoriode

Your job is to identify the problems of people and find a Solution to it

By -
Image
As an entrepreneur, your job is not to create problems for people. Your job is to identify the problems of people and find a solution to it. Listen to every conversation, on social media, forums, meetings, blog comments, etcetera. Pay attention to their questions, frustrations, complains, desires, goals, fears and dreams. It is from these emotions that you build products and services from. And when your sales copy contains the exact word these people use to vent their frustrations, you have won 90% of their attention. The other 10% would be determined by the benefits, urgency, pricy and other things that make people buy from you. So, you shouldn't spend time thinking about what niche to focus on. You shouldn't be thinking niche. You should be thinking problems and solutions. Whether you want to start a blog, a business, a podcast, a company or whatever. Let it be based on people's problems and desires. People do not care about your high sounding title. What they care...
