Overwhelmed by the pain of pursuing happiness and chasing your greatness, and feel like giving up?

Growth may be painful.
Change may be painful.

But nothing is as painful as getting STUCK at where you do not belong because you gave up.

By the way, pain is a signal that you are healing after an injury. Someone with dead nerves and no white cells will not feel any pain even when cut by a sharp object.

So, friend, your pain in the pursuit of your dream life is a signal that you're healing/moving away from your dreaded life.

Hence, say to yourself in the midst of the pains, MAN'S NOT HOT (sorry, I meant man's not pained). Skiiiiiiiraaaaa

A lot of us must have heard that much sugar is not healthy, but a good number of persons still consume a large amount of it. Sugar is a carbohydrate and we have simple sugars (glucose, fructose, galactose) and more complex forms of it (sucrose, lactose, maltose). The sugar we consume is mostly in the form of sucrose, a disaccharide made up of glucose and fructose. When we consume sugar, it is metabolized to give us energy, but when high amounts of it is consumed, the body converts to body fats and store them. Sugar (sucrose) contains about 50% fructose, and fructose, which is actually the sweet part of sugar, responsible for the sweetness we taste when we take sugar is not good for us. Fructose is metabolized only by the liver which means there's a lot of work for one's liver to do. Sir James Dyson is a British inventor, industrial designer and the founder of Dyson company. He's presently 70 years old (born in 1947). It was World Sickle Cell Day some hours ago (June 19), so I decided to do a piece on Sickle Cell Anaemia (a Sickle Cell Disease). Our Blood consists of four major distinct types of blood cells, one of which is the Red blood cells. These Red blood cells contains a protein, Haemoglobin, which is responsible for transporting Oxygen around the body. (Of course, we know we can't live without Oxygen!). This protein, Haemoglobin, in its normal form (Haemoglobin A), enables the Red blood cells have a normal shape (disc shape), but when in a mutated form (Haemoglobin S), results in Red blood cells that are sickle-shaped. The normal disc-shaped Red blood cells are flexible and can easily move through small and large blood cells and around the body to supply oxygen to various body tissues and organs, but the sickle-shaped Red blood cells can't easily do this. Don't consider age when instilling discipline in your kids, rather consider their maturity. Some kids are smarter than normal for their age and should be corrected early enough if not you may be tempted to think they are still children not knowing they are learning fast and developing character. Try and discern difference among your kids. If a method worked for one doesn't mean it must work for the other. Identify the ones that need more attention and give such more attention so that they can catch up with the others and gain independence. I dislike it when I see Godly parents having ungodly kids. Your children are a reflection of your level of spiritual responsibility. Teach them how to comport themselves in church, don't always have that attitude that they are kids, and leave them. No!
