• Saudi Arabia has banned chess, because apparently it teaches you to go against a king, which is not acceptable to them. Also, because that's one place where the female (Queen) has more freedom to move around than the male (King).

• The DNA of gorillas is highly similar to that of humans, from 95–99%, and they are the next closest living relatives to humans after the chimpanzees and bonobos.

• Closing your eyes helps you remembering things.

• Snakes can't blink.

• Food actually tastes better when others make them for you – When we make food, we get desensitized to the smell.

Success Story: How I went from a CGPA of 2.29 to 4.00 within a Semester

This is a Success Story shared by Olusola O'sola Fapohunda, a graduate of the Federal University of Technology, Akure. ----- In early 2010, I went with about four other guys in my department - to visit our level registration officer. We wanted to check our result. Each one of us, was with a paper and a pen. The lecturer in charge asked for our matriculation numbers and one after the other, he was reeling off grades, GPA and CGPA. He eventually got to me and I heard a digit that sounded like I've been shot. God! Me! 2.29. I've earned myself Grade E in some three unit courses and my best course was APH301, which I had a B with a score of 69. Why do People think that Introverts are Rude or Arrogant?

Myth #1 – Introverts don’t like to talk. This is not true. Introverts just don’t talk unless they have something to say. They hate small talk. Someone asks, "What does it mean to not serve God and mammon? I'm confused. Does it mean I should not want to have money? And I should not think about it or how to get it? Or that I should live in penury? Is that what it means to not serve mammon?" My reply: "Wanting money is not same as serving Mammon. Wanting money and desiring it is very godly and indeed, noble. Money is simply a tool; same way screw driver, hammer, spoon or spanner is. However, when your desire for money comes above your desire for God's leading and direction, you have erred. When, instead of being led by God and the interests of His Kingdom, you're being led by thoughts of personal gain, you have bowed to Mammon. A fruit is known by its seed. A tree is known by its fruit. Trees are matured, grown seeds. Seeds are those little fragments that make our lives the whole. Seeds are what we allow to be part of the whole. Every little stem, leaf, branch, stump and fruit are results of those little seeds. Poor seeds bear bad fruits. Healthy seeds bear good fruits. The fruits are the product of those little seeds. What kind of fruit do your little seeds produce? Lies, Hate, Envy, Shallowness, Bitterness, Naivety, Pride, Laziness and Promiscuity.. Or – Truth, Love, Knowledge, Grace, Faith, Humility, Hardwork and Self-control. You are responsible for the fruit You yield because you allowed the seeds to grow. This part focuses on diet and eye health. Good eye health requires the consumption of nutrients like omega-3 fatty acids, lutein, zeaxanthin, zinc, beta-carotene, vitamins A, C and E, etcetera. Deficiency of these nutrients contributes to poor eye health Food sources that are positive for eye health include; - Green leafy vegetables like spinach, kale and others - Fruits like citruses and berries (oranges, etcetera). Also almonds, carrots, tomatoes, mangoes, pawpaw - Fatty fish such as tuna, salmon, mackerel. - Non meat protein sources like eggs, nuts, beans, etcetera - Diary products like milk and yoghurt Unhealthy foods such as processed foods, foods containing saturated fats, or foods that are high in sugar, should be limited and less consumed. The idea that an anointing from God can be IMPARTED from one person to another is NOT in the Bible. But if I can convince you that I have an anointing that you need, well, that pretty much makes you dependent upon me, doesn’t it?
