Stepping out for lunch today, clutching my notepad and devices, a man stopped me smiling.
"Hello"
"Hello" I greeted back as he extended his hands.
"You look expensive", he said shaking my hands in acknowledgement.
"Really? Oh..thank you." I managed to mutter wondering how a stranger can make such inference in a chance moment.
"You sure do!" he responded as we went our separate ways.

Imagine it was a business meeting, my first impression would have him sold. I looked for the next available mirror to see for myself. I did look fly rocking a bishop necked blue and white shirt made by Dapo Okeowo. My pictures don too plenty, I for show una.

Lesson..
Always be mindful of your appearance it speaks volume.
Mind you, I wasn't adorned gold or fancy jewels. Just simple top and pants.

Don’t build your castle on anyone’s talk; or you build a castle in the air…. Talk is cheap and anyone can afford it... even a pauper. I read through a timeline here a while ago and I saw series of “I've missed you, where have you been?” posts. I smiled as I read through. In my mind, I asked, “Have you tried getting in touch with this person you claim to miss, beyond posting ‘I miss you’ on their Facebook timeline?’ It reminded me of lots of comments I have come across where people would ask a certain writer to go write their book, start a blog and begin a blog series, release their anthology etcetera, because they “…just write so well”. Free from what fought me mentally... I love this line by Kierra Sheard. Some of the battles we fight are not spiritual but mental. Even the devil knows that he has no access to your Spirit courtesy of salvation but still compensates himself in the mental realm. For one to operate fully at creations installed capacity, there is need for a marriage between the physical, spiritual and mental part of being. Knowing this, the devil is happy in causing a distortion in the flow and blending of these impulses. The greatest form of deliverance is not casting out a demon from a man, but loading him with knowledge. And you shall know the truth and it will make you free. Principle versus Formula

Productivity is better than Activity and Principle is better than formula. Principles will birth productivity whereas Formulas will only produce activity. For example, It is possible to sleep four hours a day and achieve significantly less than someone who sleeps eight hours a day, while claiming anybody that sleeps above four hours is lazy. When it comes to success, there might be principles but not formulas (I mean mindless copying). Some people just copy too much, not seeing that a lot of factors are involved. The most important thing is to learn the principles and tailor it to your unique situation. Make your work time count. I remember students back in school who claimed to be reading all night (and they were) but had little or nothing to show in their result and there were others who never went through that stress and made straight A's.
