You don't become it in just a day, Patience have to play it's role, while persistency and commitment do the finishing touches.

Are you frustrated about that skill that you just started learning and it seems you're not getting a hold of it? Are you frustrated that you can't get things together? Are you at the verge of giving up? Is this your last trial?

Hey! Common, if it took you just a second to learn it you won't appreciate it. Be calm, go through the school of patience, graduate with a degree in commitment. You'll surely come through.

Give it your best shot and never accept failure until you make your last attempt, and never make your last attempt until you succeed!
Success is for those who show courage amidst challenge.
Mastery is not about how far but how well.

I was with my parents over the weekend. It was a great time with them. Our conversations especially when I am about leaving them after a visit will end with a prayer. But this time a good part of the conversation centered on marriage and so was about 86% of the prayer on getting married from the right family and settling down well....hmmm. You see, we all have this almighty question to answer now and then. In fact, life in Nigeria is ideally viewed in a particular cycle – Birth - Go to School - Graduate from University - National Youth Service - Work or Business - Marriage and Children, and then Work, Work, Business, Business - Raise Children - Work, Work, Business, Business - Death. Each time I hear things like the young people should be given a chance to lead, I laugh. I know we still have very good and competent young people that can be agents of transformation but they are in the tiniest minority. So many are quick to use the arguments of our past leaders attaining positions of leadership at very young ages, true but you must realise that they got there not because of their competency but because they were lucky to be among a few that were a bit enlightened in the wake of transition from the colonial era. There was an immediate need to transfer responsibility of leadership to any indigenous person that had some level of education but not because of their ingenuity. I was on one of my favorite spots reading with my phone, when two young ladies, one in bum shorts (I hate when ladies wear this outside) just showcasing themselves in front of me. I lifted my head and looked, then smiled and shook my head as if I didn't see anything. I continued my reading. After plenty effort to gain my attention, by one of them, they advised themselves. You probably may have tried different exploits to get something to work or done but it seem to be infeasible. It gets worse when it drains you away and there is no strength left to give it just one more push. This is the break point – that moment when all you need is just a slight push but your strength is failing you. If your body is weak, your mind cannot afford to be weak. Your mind controls your body. If your will to Succeed in anything is low, there is a chance that you cannot win, for the desire to win and see the end of that, has to be and must be greater than the fear which comes when you doubt yourself or what you can do.
