Marry Your Size!

Marry a Person You can Carry, and that can Carry You as well (Financially, Spiritually, Mentally, Socially, etcetera), so that when you're down, all won't be lost. If You do all the Carrying alone, all the time, it's as good as a prescription for an early grave.

Marriage is give and give (on both sides). Everyone should have or be willing to acquire the capacity to give!
Both parties should be willing and able to inspire each other and bring out the best in each other!

If you marry the wrong size and match, you'll feel the pains constantly, and will be greatly tempted to pull off the shoe or change the shoe entirely.

Step by step, the mind travelled back to where it all began. The events that shaped us unveiled. We reached out to the files, dusted them and gave a positive meaning to every snap shot captured. I was with my parents over the weekend. It was a great time with them. Our conversations especially when I am about leaving them after a visit will end with a prayer. But this time a good part of the conversation centered on marriage and so was about 86% of the prayer on getting married from the right family and settling down well....hmmm. You see, we all have this almighty question to answer now and then. In fact, life in Nigeria is ideally viewed in a particular cycle – Birth - Go to School - Graduate from University - National Youth Service - Work or Business - Marriage and Children, and then Work, Work, Business, Business - Raise Children - Work, Work, Business, Business - Death. I hope you can relate with that cycle. When you are done, your children obviously will continue with the next cycle starting from where you started. I was on one of my favorite spots reading with my phone, when two young ladies, one in bum shorts (I hate when ladies wear this outside) just showcasing themselves in front of me. I lifted my head and looked, then smiled and shook my head as if I didn't see anything. I continued my reading. After plenty effort to gain my attention, by one of them, they advised themselves. Naman, the general was a great man. He had a but in his life, he was a Leper. He was so interested and desperate to get healed, that he followed the words of a young girl and went all out on it. He got the permission of the king and travelled down to Isreal. The journey was a risky one for, he could be taken hostage being a commander of a foreign army. He could be ambushed considering the bulk of riches he had with him. He took all the risk and arrived in Israel. Unfortunately for him, the man he was referred to did not even give him the attention he needed. Imagine the secretary of state of USA wanting to visit Adeboye in Nigeria.
