When a Newspaper Reporter interviewed a farmer who grew Award-Winning Maize each year he entered his maize in the Agricultural Show, it was revealed that the farmer shared his seed with his neighbours.
Perplexed, the reporter asked, “How can you afford to share your best seed with your neighbours when they are entering their maize in competition with yours each year?”

The farmer smiled knowingly and explained, “The wind picks up pollen from the ripening maize and swirls it from field to field. If my neighbours grow inferior maize, Cross-Pollination will steadily degrade the quality of my maize. If I am to grow good maize, I must help my neighbours grow a good crop.”

So it is with our lives. Those who want to live meaningfully and well, must help enrich the lives of others. For the value of a life, is measured by the lives it touches. And those who choose to be happy, must help others find happiness. For the welfare of each is bound up with the welfare of all.

Call it power of collectivity. Call it a principle of success. Call it a law of life. The fact remains, “None of us truly wins, until we all win.”
Love your neighbour as yourself.
Know this secret as you grow older!

In life, when you help the people around you to be good, you surely become the Best!

A lot of us have become used to using salt to kill earthworms when we encounter any in our houses. I've thought about this for a while now, but I recently decided to check it up and I'll share what I learnt about the science. Everyone's trying to be truly happy, and everyone surely deserves that, because there's no life without happiness. But a lot of persons are much unhappy inside than they seem to be. Sometimes the pain they feel deep inside gets to a threshold, where they can't keep on putting up false happiness, and their true feelings are more often expressed. I wonder why people take the word "Calling" to be a religious word. Calling isn't a religious word. Just like Baptism. The problem is, when people get to find out the use of a word first in the Bible, they think it's a religious word. Calling is gotten from the greek word "vocatio" which means work, task, or vocation. Your calling is what you're meant to be doing for the rest of your life. It's a task, it's your life's assignment. It doesn't have to be religious. We can't all be pastors... just think about it. If we all become Pastors, who will produce the cars we drive? Who will be our structure engineers? Who will work for the tithe? Think about it.. If then, you say it's only ministerial activities that are callings, do you mean the others are joking or wasting their time, or they were never called? The face you give when you launch a new product and instead of people to buy they say "Congratulations, I am proud of you". Am I the only that has experienced this? When I first launched my first book, At the River Bank, I had a lot of people that told me Congratulations, the moral support was something else but that Moral support demoralized me and I gave into depression. Do you know why? Only one person purchased my book on the day I launched it. The person that even purchased the book was my friend, Promise Excel. Over 300 congratulations and only one person purchased the book. How does that sound? Have you been in this same situation? I was sharing this story with Bella the other day and I realized how much I've grown from that experience.
