You get involved with a man and get carried away. You miss a day of school here and there, give up on your goals and career. And before you know it, you've paused Your Own Life.

You want to spend all of your time with this great person. STOP IT! You’re losing yourself and you’ll eventually turn this guy off by smothering him and losing yourself in him.

Don’t let him be a distraction from your
personal goals. Be careful and don’t make that mistake. It happens to women all the time, so be prepared to control yourself and stay focused when this happens!

Stay focused on your own life. Don’t use a man as a way to fill in your life for you. This makes you the clingy, overbearing girl and it pushes men away.
If you have no goals or ambition and find it hard to keep yourself busy, don't assume you would get it all rosy with a man who maybe is wealthy!

If you accept being that dependent woman, a strong independent woman would always be a better option for men!

I am skinny and I don't like cold. My lips quiver, my speech seizes, my nose shoots out mucus with every sneeze and I think my metabolism stops too, except my kidneys. There has never been more pressure than it is now for young entrepreneurs to become millionaires. So because I post on Facebook daily, friends and family assume that I'm one multimillion dollar ultra successful entrepreneur (which I am anyways). The other day I was with my best friend and he asked me jokingly, "when will you marry?" My response was, "heck! We all know how to use the remote control to change the channels on the TV. If we see something we don’t like, no big deal, we just change the channel. I know I do that a lot. I always say to myself that, “my eyes will see no evil”. We need to learn how to mentally change channels when negative images of the past pop up in our minds unexpectedly. You have to let go of the past and stop feeling sorry for yourself. You can’t do anything about what’s happened to you, but you can choose how you will face what’s in front of you. Create a new TV channel for your mind. Now program this channel with positive memories to replace the ones you are leaving behind. Be sure to delete "past failure" and trust God for a renewing of mind and a better future. I have two sons. One of them loves food so much that he eats food even in advance. The other keeps his food and eats it slowly so that it lasts longer. I respect both of their choices. I love both of them. This morning (on the day this was written) as I gave one of them bread and he ate, I found him keep coming for more. But the only one 'serving' I gave to the other was still with him; being managed, so that it wouldn't finish on time. Both are my sons. Both are dearly loved by me. Both have their choices respected.
