HER: Yes.

ME: And ALL the young men you dated had one thing in common, right?

HER: Yes, that's what I said.

ME: And that one thing is?

HER: It's quite amazing and annoying, they ALL turned out to be complete Idiots.

ME: Hmmm, interesting. Do you know something else they all amazingly had in common?

HER: No, Please, do tell.

Some people are afraid to hope because they have been hurt so much in life. They have had so many disappointments, they don't think they can face the pain of another one. Therefore, they refuse to hope so they won't be disappointed. This avoidance of hope is a type of protection against being hurt. Disappointment hurts! So rather than be hurt again, many people simply refuse to hope or to believe that anything good will ever happen to them. This type of behavior sets up a negative lifestyle. Everyone's trying to be truly happy, and everyone surely deserves that, because there's no life without happiness. But a lot of persons are much unhappy inside than they seem to be. Sometimes the pain they feel deep inside gets to a threshold, where they can't keep on putting up false happiness, and their true feelings are more often expressed. I have read lots of interview questions and answers online before then like I was going to get a 10 million naira job. Staying without job for a year was the lowest point of my life. Oxytocin is one of the major four chemical substances (Dopamine, Oxytocin, Serotonin, Endorphins, - DOSE) in the body that is related to happiness. One may have thought that Oxytocin is only involved in pregnancy and breastfeeding, but it really has much contribution to happiness.  Oxytocin is a hormone and neurotransmitter that is present in both males and females. It has been dubbed names such as "Love hormone", "Love and Trust hormone", "Cuddle hormone", and " Social bonding hormone".  It's a social bonding hormone that supports love, trust and attachment between individuals, decreases fear and anxiety, increases pain threshold (makes it harder to feel pain), and promotes growth and healing.
