Comfort sucks!

As I watched the two fishes move in the aquarium, I experienced a drift... I began to wonder how some of us are comfortable in our limiting 'box' because we have food, shelter and other basic needs. Then I imagined how beautiful and interesting life would be if we break out of this box, this comfort and explore...and see life on the other side.

The life we yearn for is not found in the confines of our comfort zone. Until we risk comfort we won't get the chance to experience life on the other side.

Live life in crescendo, stretching, learning and expanding daily. Be willing to go higher, do more, take risk, grow, and go past you comfort zone. Growth, discovery and betterment are often accompanied by some degree of discomfort.

Success Story: How I went from a CGPA of 2.29 to 4.00 within a Semester

This is a Success Story shared by Olusola O'sola Fapohunda, a graduate of the Federal University of Technology, Akure. ----- In early 2010, I went with about four other guys in my department - to visit our level registration officer. We wanted to check our result. Each one of us, was with a paper and a pen. The lecturer in charge asked for our matriculation numbers and one after the other, he was reeling off grades, GPA and CGPA. He eventually got to me and I heard a digit that sounded like I've been shot. God! Me! 2.29. I've earned myself Grade E in some three unit courses and my best course was APH301, which I had a B with a score of 69. Everyone's trying to be truly happy, and everyone surely deserves that, because there's no life without happiness. But a lot of persons are much unhappy inside than they seem to be. Jeff Keller's Attitude is Everything, is another great book to read. Before I read this book, I thought it's going to be all about attitude (a person's behaviour, character as I understood it). It is all about attitude anyway, but a broader scope of it, one that I hadn't imagined and understood till I read the book. There's so much to learn, know, gain, from reading books. People who don't read books, or who hate reading are kinda dead in knowledge and such death most times reflects in their attitudes, which is a product of the vacuum in their mindsets. As I've done with the other books I've written about, I'll share a few of the many that can be learnt from Keller's book. • One's attitude is the person's window to the world.
