Comfort sucks!

As I watched the two fishes move in the aquarium, I experienced a drift... I began to wonder how some of us are comfortable in our limiting 'box' because we have food, shelter and other basic needs. Then I imagined how beautiful and interesting life would be if we break out of this box, this comfort and explore...and see life on the other side.

The life we yearn for is not found in the confines of our comfort zone. Until we risk comfort we won't get the chance to experience life on the other side.

Live life in crescendo, stretching, learning and expanding daily. Be willing to go higher, do more, take risk, grow, and go past you comfort zone. Growth, discovery and betterment are often accompanied by some degree of discomfort.

A lot of us have become used to using salt to kill earthworms when we encounter any in our houses. I've thought about this for a while now, but I recently decided to check it up and I'll share what I learnt about the science. I read this book about four years ago, and it was a big turning point for me. Much was learnt, I'll share few of them today. You should check it out. The lessons: Death begins when one stops learning, and ageing starts from one's mind, not one's body. One remains young as far as he or she keeps learning; One starts crashing once he or she stops pushing. One's ability to excel mentally is paralyzed once one stops trying and accepts that the results obtained is the best he or she can attain; One's life becomes a burden when one's life is void of progress. And when one's brain isn't working towards anything, it becomes a weight on the body. The brain is motivated when it sees something ahead, something to work towards for; One's success does not demand prayer and fasting, as much as engaging one's senses positively. The worst thing you can ask from wealthy people or those in position of authority is money, because they wouldn't give you enough if they even give you at all. A few days ago (on the day this was written), I sent an email to my subscribers. The call to action in that email was, "get your discount now" with a link to a sales page. Later, I got a reply from one of the subscribers saying, "where should I get the discount?" Then I replied, "click this link...." Yesterday (on the day Promise wrote this), a client I worked with sent me a message asking me what a logo was. He told me that someone requested for his logo and he doesn't know what it means. Then I told him what a logo was and the price to get one. His response was that, if he knew that he needed a logo for his website, he would have paid when he was paying for the web design. I took it that it was my fault. I assumed that everyone knew what I knew. This is the more reason why you should monetize your knowledge. Many people don't know what you know.
