It's a new day and a new month! Hope the month of June was a Positive for you? For me, it was. But I'm not resting yet. I haven't even began the Journey. That's the way we should see it. Though we shouldn't entertain pressure or fear, we should be always willing to compete with ourselves! We should set new goals and targets, and work towards improving on the already achieved landmarks. And in all we do, we should always Believe in Ourselves and Trust in God!

As we pursue our targets and dreams everyday, we should remember to LOVE. We should Love God by recognizing Him daily. We should Love Ourselves by having a positive physical, mental and social health. We should Love others by being a light where ever we are; a light in our words, conversations, attitude and actions. Be an Inspiration!

The session was on Olajumoke Adenowo. ---------- (Diligent Amaka speaking) Olajumoke Olufunmilola Adenowo (born in 1968) is an award-winning Nigerian architect, entrepreneur, and philanthropist, as well as a speaker, radio host, and author. She is the founder of the boutique architecture and interior design firm AD Consultin, based in Lagos, Nigeria. CNN described her as "Africa's Starchitect" and The Guardian (Nigeria) has described her as "the face of Architecture in Nigeria. Adenowo has several philanthropic ventures. In 1999, she founded the Awesome Treasures Foundation (ATF), a faith-based NGO in Lagos, Nigeria. Success Story: How I went from a CGPA of 2.29 to 4.00 within a Semester

This is a Success Story shared by Olusola O'sola Fapohunda, a graduate of the Federal University of Technology, Akure. ----- In early 2010, I went with about four other guys in my department - to visit our level registration officer. We wanted to check our result. Each one of us, was with a paper and a pen. The lecturer in charge asked for our matriculation numbers and one after the other, he was reeling off grades, GPA and CGPA. He eventually got to me and I heard a digit that sounded like I've been shot. God! Me! 2.29. I've earned myself Grade E in some three unit courses and my best course was APH301, which I had a B with a score of 69. About six months later, I went to check my 300 level second semester result and I now had a CGPA of 4.00. That was the happiest day of my University education. I was rolling on the floor of the room. I was with my parents over the weekend. It was a great time with them. Our conversations especially when I am about leaving them after a visit will end with a prayer. But this time a good part of the conversation centered on marriage and so was about 86% of the prayer on getting married from the right family and settling down well....hmmm. You see, we all have this almighty question to answer now and then. In fact, life in Nigeria is ideally viewed in a particular cycle – Birth - Go to School - Graduate from University - National Youth Service - Work or Business - Marriage and Children, and then Work, Work, Business, Business - Raise Children - Work, Work, Business, Business - Death. I hope you can relate with that cycle. When you are done, your children obviously will continue with the next cycle starting from where you started. I have read lots of interview questions and answers online before then like I was going to get a 10 million naira job. Staying without job for a year was the lowest point of my life. WakingThoughts: This morning (on the day this was written), I wrote, "You are not a serious business if you do not have a system in place to respond to enquiries and close sales." As a business, you've got to maintain a steady pipeline of new customers for the following reasons: 1. In a competitive market, every new customer is market share stolen from your competitor. 2. A steady stream of new customers creates cash flow. 3. New customers provide a buffer from lost sales, when old customers leave. 4. A satisfied new customer leads to recurrent sales, which reduces your cost of marketing. 5. A constant stream of new customers guarantees your generational relevance and pushes you to innovate, as your business matures. The Word of God is not judged by Speed but by State

I watched Benny Hinn lay hands on people and they'd be healed instantly. But at some private instances, I've had to pray for a cold to leave my chest and that stuffiness took a while. How come God's word seemed so slow, so lazy-footed in some cases when I needed it to be fast, quick? Didn't an Hebrew text say the word of the Lord is quick? Every time I thought of this text, I didn't feel it was my experience that God's word was lightening fast. Why does At feel like it takes time to materialize? Why do headaches or body pains sluggishly go away. I have to declare God's word a number of times – days, weeks, months, even years! God seems slower than the juju man who boasts of instant results. "Bring a fowl head and get rich quick." "Take this little black stone and you get a lover of your choice." Can't the Almighty God have a word this quick?
