• On Thursday, July 27:

Chelsea loaned three of their players: Jamal Blackman (Sheffield United), Michael Hector (Hull City) and Tomas Kalas (Fulham).

• On Tuesday, July 25:

Izzy Brown was also loaned to Brighton from Chelsea.

• On Monday, July 24:

West Ham completed a £16m signing of Javier Hernandez from Bayern Leverkusen.

Manchester City completed a £52m signing of Benjamin Mendy from Monaco.

Juventus completed a £35m signing of Federico Bernardeschi from Fiorentina.

Mason Mount was loaned by Chelsea to Vitesse Arnhem.

• On Sunday, July 23:

Manchester City completed a £26.5m signing of Danilo from Real Madrid.

• On Saturday, July 22:

West Ham completed the signing of Marko Arnautovic from Stoke City.

Middlesbrough completed a £5m signing of Darren Randolph from West Ham.

Roma completed a £4.5m signing of Aleksandar Kolarov from Manchester City.

The session was on Olajumoke Adenowo. ---------- (Diligent Amaka speaking) Olajumoke Olufunmilola Adenowo (born in 1968) is an award-winning Nigerian architect, entrepreneur, and philanthropist, as well as a speaker, radio host, and author. She is the founder of the boutique architecture and interior design firm AD Consultin, based in Lagos, Nigeria. CNN described her as "Africa's Starchitect" and The Guardian (Nigeria) has described her as "the face of Architecture in Nigeria. Adenowo has several philanthropic ventures. In 1999, she founded the Awesome Treasures Foundation (ATF), a faith-based NGO in Lagos, Nigeria. Success Story: How I went from a CGPA of 2.29 to 4.00 within a Semester

This is a Success Story shared by Olusola O'sola Fapohunda, a graduate of the Federal University of Technology, Akure. ----- In early 2010, I went with about four other guys in my department - to visit our level registration officer. We wanted to check our result. Each one of us, was with a paper and a pen. The lecturer in charge asked for our matriculation numbers and one after the other, he was reeling off grades, GPA and CGPA. He eventually got to me and I heard a digit that sounded like I've been shot. God! Me! 2.29. I've earned myself Grade E in some three unit courses and my best course was APH301, which I had a B with a score of 69. About six months later, I went to check my 300 level second semester result and I now had a CGPA of 4.00. That was the happiest day of my University education. I was rolling on the floor of the room. Passing by a church over the weekend, my thoughts revolved about a noticeable trend that have stayed in Nigeria, I believe for about a decade or so. You must have observed same. Churches in recent years now use Religious broadcasting (which is broadcasting by religious organizations, usually with a religious message) to conduct LIVE services. So, a head quarter church in any part of the country can easily broadcast to any of their satellite churches, and you see people in this satellite churches agreeing and seeing visible results. Several years ago, people will never try that. They will wonder why you should be looking at somebody in a box, and be dancing, singing and even believe same for miracles. What foolishness? Why do People think that Introverts are Rude or Arrogant?

Myth #1 – Introverts don’t like to talk. This is not true. Introverts just don’t talk unless they have something to say. They hate small talk. Get an introvert talking about something they are interested in, and they won’t shut up for days. Myth #2 – Introverts are shy. Shyness has nothing to do with being an Introvert. A lot of us have become used to using salt to kill earthworms when we encounter any in our houses. I've thought about this for a while now, but I recently decided to check it up and I'll share what I learnt about the science. Sports this Week: Neymar Jr becomes world's most expensive football player and second highest paid player in the world

Its been an interesting week in the world of football. For the past few days, and many days to come, the world will be talking about Neymar Jr. Photo Credit: metro.co.uk 25 years old Neymar da Silva Santos Júnior became the world most expensive football player after Paris Saint-Germain made a payment of €222 million (about £200 million) to Barcelona, which is the value of the release clause in Neymar's contract. The deal was completed on Thursday, August 3, and would keep him at PSG till 2022. Many thought it was all rumours till it became official. The deal makes Neymar Jr the second highest paid player in the world (£515,000-per-week) after Carlos Tevez (Shanghai Shenua, £615,000-per-week). Neymar takes the number 10 Jersey, which was handed over to him by Javier Pastore. Neymar would definitely do great in PSG. Let's hope he wins the champions league with them and the balon d'or soon. Have You found yourself pretending before God? Well, You may begin to think in the lines of hypocrisy but that's not what I'm taking about. Remember that step You were not willing to take but You just acted as though you were excited about doing it so You won't get God angry. Remember that Bible verse You have not come to believe but You pretended You did just to make God happy with You. I can go on and on but I think You get what I mean. At this point I want to tell You to drop the pretence. The earlier You realize that God is okay with You being honest, the better for You. Even if your honesty reflects immaturity, don't worry. Tell God your doubts, tell Him those things You are skeptical about. Tell it to Him. Be honest about it and God won't send thunder and brimstone after You, rather He will teach You. The Holy Spirit is our teacher, but He won't teach You if You go on pretending You know it. Drop the pretence and come into the realm of honesty with God. ...
