The transfer market is still on and the market has been busy. Today, we look at some outstanding transfers over the past week.

On Saturday, July 15:

• Tiemoue Bakayoko completed a transfer from Monaco to Chelsea, a five year deal worth about £40m

On Sunday, July 16:

• Nolito signed a three year contract with Sevilla, completing a transfer from Manchester City

• Chelsea loaned Marco van Ginkel to PSV Eindhoven

On Tuesday, July 18:

• Manchester City loaned Joe Hart to West Ham

• Lucas Leiva completed a £5m transfer from Liverpool to Lazio

On Wednesday, July 19:

• Wojciech Szczesny completed a £10m transfer from Arsenal to Juventus

On Friday, July 21:

• Alvaro Morata completed a transfer from Real Madrid to Chelsea. He becomes Chelsea's record signing (transfer is worth about £60m) surpassing Fernando Torres' transfer from Liverpool.

• Chelsea loaned Kurt Zouma to Stoke City.

• Kevin Stewart completed a transfer reported to be valued at £8m from Liverpool to Hull City

The 2017 FIFA confederations cup has been interesting so far. The group stage is still on with a game to go for each of the teams. For the two games played, none of the teams won both games. In Group A, Mexico tops, followed by Portugal. Both teams have same point (four points), but Mexico has scored four goals against three scored by Portugal. Russia comes third with three points and New Zealand comes last with zero point. In Group B, Chile tops with a higher goal difference, but same point (four points). Germany comes second, Australia and Cameroon comes third and last, respectively, with a point each. The session was on Olajumoke Adenowo. ---------- (Diligent Amaka speaking) Olajumoke Olufunmilola Adenowo (born in 1968) is an award-winning Nigerian architect, entrepreneur, and philanthropist, as well as a speaker, radio host, and author. She is the founder of the boutique architecture and interior design firm AD Consultin, based in Lagos, Nigeria. CNN described her as "Africa's Starchitect" and The Guardian (Nigeria) has described her as "the face of Architecture in Nigeria. Adenowo has several philanthropic ventures. In 1999, she founded the Awesome Treasures Foundation (ATF), a faith-based NGO in Lagos, Nigeria. Some years ago, I began to have some thoughts about life. Everyday, we come across people who put up false happiness. Everyone's trying to be truly happy, and everyone surely deserves that, because there's no life without happiness. But a lot of persons are much unhappy inside than they seem to be. Sometimes the pain they feel deep inside gets to a threshold, where they can't keep on putting up false happiness, and their true feelings are more often expressed. For a good number of persons, they redefine happiness, and their definition of happiness does not bring them true happiness, though it feels so at the beginning, but at the end, it only adds to the pain they already feel. Never Give Up On Hope

Calamity dealt us many devastating blows and tragedy came to introduce us to who we truly were. Humility is the end-product of extreme spiritual suffering. The ego is exposed for what it is and your body is left exhausted. The mental torture was unbearable and the shame that we were exposed to crushed all our pride. The refinement process destroyed our reality and wisdom was distilled from the decomposition of our pain and the fermentation of our tears. We prayed in vain in the presence of silence but grief was the only one to respond. Anxiety took over and ripped our soul apart in the cold, making way for fear and depression to eat us alive. The roots are deeper than the soil and nobody knows how or why we were broken. After your worst experiences come the best moments of your life. The greatest lesson is never to give up on hope.
