Saw this on facebook and felt it's worth sharing here.. In JSS3; Our educational curriculum mandates that an examination be taken. This said exam is aimed at segregating the class into:- Sciences, Commercials and Arts; as the students transit to Senior Secondary School level. Those that score well above average are moved to sciences. The school management naturally assumes this category to be the most intelligent of the bunch and they surreptitiously bestow upon them the responsibility to become the future Medical doctors and Engineers. Those whose scores were average are moved to commercials because they are terms as those whose brains lack the capacity to comprehend Physics, Chemistry and Biology. They are better of going into the world of business. And those whose scores are below average are moved to Arts. These ones are characterised as dullards and olodo rabbatas. She walked to the sitting room and took the keys from where it was hung on the wall and unlocked the door. Some years ago, I began to have some thoughts about life. Everyday, we come across people who put up false happiness. Everyone's trying to be truly happy, and everyone surely deserves that, because there's no life without happiness. But a lot of persons are much unhappy inside than they seem to be. Sometimes the pain they feel deep inside gets to a threshold, where they can't keep on putting up false happiness, and their true feelings are more often expressed. For a good number of persons, they redefine happiness, and their definition of happiness does not bring them true happiness, though it feels so at the beginning, but at the end, it only adds to the pain they already feel. The 2017 FIFA Confederations Cup is just less than 48 hours to be done with. It's been an interesting week with the two interesting semi final games played on Wednesday, June 28, and Thursday, June 29. After Portugal qualified as Group winners of Group A, they booked a semi final encounter with Chile, runners up of Group B, on Wednesday. It was the most interesting game of the cup so far, with the winner decided by penalties. Claudio Bravo, the Manchester City and Chilean goalkeeper and captain turned hero as he saved all three penalties, taken by Ricardo Quaresma, João Moutinho and Nani, while Chile scored all three of theirs. The other encounter between Group B winners, Germany and Group A runners up, Mexico ended in a convincing win for Germany as they put four goals past Ochoa, the Mexican goalkeeper while Mexico could only reply with a goal, though a stunning and long distance one by Marco Fabian, from a free kick. Stanley could not believe that he was delayed at the banking hall for close to an hour before he was asked to enter the office of the Customer Service Manager. Even with the heart that pumps and distributes life's fuel (the blood), the brain is still needed to regulate voluntary and involuntary processes and actions, which includes memory and learning, movement, blood pressure and body temperature and overall health. The brain has cells, the neurons. These brain cells needs adequate care, because their progressive destruction will result to certain mental health diseases which are bad for health. The movie turned out to be a comedy. Stanley rarely liked comedies. He was more into thrillers, action, and sci-fi. He had to fake his laughter at every interval. He did this in order not to look odd among the audience who were obviously cracked up by what Stanley felt was "mediocre and silly". When nobody was looking, he made sure his gaze was on his beautiful date, Franca. Franca, he thought. The truth was that he didn't expect her to agree to the movie date. A part of him was expecting her to decline his offer. This was why he was surprised when she had politely called him back before he left her office. She had smiled and told him she would go with him.
