She is the founder of the boutique architecture and interior design firm AD Consultin, based in Lagos, Nigeria. CNN described her as "Africa's Starchitect" and The Guardian (Nigeria) has described her as "the face of Architecture in Nigeria. Adenowo has several philanthropic ventures. In 1999, she founded the Awesome Treasures Foundation (ATF), a faith-based NGO in Lagos, Nigeria. Nature versus Nuture

Your physical features can be identified as identical to that of your parents, like your eyes from your father, and the hair color from your mother. However, your personality and talents may have come not from your father or mother. The environment where you grew up may have a lasting effect or influence on that way you talk, behave and respond to the things around you. Culled from Sarah Mae Cero Scientists argue over the influence of nature which is our genetic make-up and nurture which is our environment. However the argument is basically to determine which influences us more. But they agree that each plays a role in contributing to who we are today. As Christians, we are caught up in this nature versus nurture interplay. We were made after his nurture, but when sin interfered our genetic make up was corrupted (a missense mutation). False Evidence Appearing Real

I can remember my first steps going before a crowd. I was asked to take the Bible reading in Church on a Sunday. By the time I mounted the pulpit, I had to grip the pulpit for support because I just discovered that I could no longer stand straight again out of fear and nervousness. I was shaking like a dry leaf in harmattan. I felt I was going to have a seizure or just fall and embarrass my generation. My legs were wobbling, it was like I had no bone in them. I couldn't look at the crowd, it was terrible, and I can't remember how I survived the few minutes it took for me to finish the Bible reading. I never wanted to get there again, but next Sunday, I was back there, and the Sunday after that, and every other Sunday, and there we have it. Some years ago, I began to have some thoughts about life. Everyday, we come across people who put up false happiness. Everyone's trying to be truly happy, and everyone surely deserves that, because there's no life without happiness. But a lot of persons are much unhappy inside than they seem to be. Sometimes the pain they feel deep inside gets to a threshold, where they can't keep on putting up false happiness, and their true feelings are more often expressed. For a good number of persons, they redefine happiness, and their definition of happiness does not bring them true happiness, though it feels so at the beginning, but at the end, it only adds to the pain they already feel. Success Story: How I went from a CGPA of 2.29 to 4.00 within a Semester

This is a Success Story shared by Olusola O'sola Fapohunda, a graduate of the Federal University of Technology, Akure. ----- In early 2010, I went with about four other guys in my department - to visit our level registration officer. We wanted to check our result. Each one of us, was with a paper and a pen. The lecturer in charge asked for our matriculation numbers and one after the other, he was reeling off grades, GPA and CGPA. He eventually got to me and I heard a digit that sounded like I've been shot. God! Me! 2.29. I've earned myself Grade E in some three unit courses and my best course was APH301, which I had a B with a score of 69. About six months later, I went to check my 300 level second semester result and I now had a CGPA of 4.00. That was the happiest day of my University education. I was rolling on the floor of the room. Truth be told, I believe in that proverbial saying "shoe have sizes". A man who doesn't recognize the relevance of his shoe size will end up with an over sized or an under sized shoe. It's not all Ladies, that one can afford. No matter one's bank account, even if you're Nigeria's richest man, Dangote. Financial capacity aside, there are some Ladies beyond your mental capacity, who reason now beyond the way you will in the next five years (no insult intended, just reality). I have met such Ladies. Then there's Spiritual capacity. As a Pastor, or upcoming Pastor (If such title exists), or one with the Call of God on one's life; and who gets married to a Lady or a Man, who has no interest in God or the Church, how would one cope with one's partner who has some added spiritual responsibilities as a Preacher of the Gospel, or/and a Partner who doesn't feel okay or appreciate your calling as a Spiritual leader? Principle versus Formula

Productivity is better than Activity and Principle is better than formula. Principles will birth productivity whereas Formulas will only produce activity. For example, It is possible to sleep four hours a day and achieve significantly less than someone who sleeps eight hours a day, while claiming anybody that sleeps above four hours is lazy. When it comes to success, there might be principles but not formulas (I mean mindless copying). Some people just copy too much, not seeing that a lot of factors are involved. The most important thing is to learn the principles and tailor it to your unique situation. Make your work time count. I remember students back in school who claimed to be reading all night (and they were) but had little or nothing to show in their result and there were others who never went through that stress and made straight A's. It is good to look out for working formulas but it's more important to know what works for you and so you can manipulate the formula...

Understanding the Working of Grace

Grace makes you supernatural, not moral. The ability to say no to evil or anything wrong morally isn't by grace but by conscience exercised. When Paul the apostle said in Titus 2:12 that grace teaches us to deny ungodliness, he is talking about the supernatural life grace gets us into. Not to steal or to avoid stealing is a moral thing. You don't need grace for that. You don't need grace in order to start talking good or bad. Your conscience is there to pilot you on such activities. Joseph didn't overcome Portiphar's wife by grace, because Joseph hadn't the Spirit in him. It wasn't grace that taught Joseph to eschewed the sex trap, but his conscience! An unbeliever can deny immortality, evil things and even barbaric attitudes, yet he or she doesn't know what grace is or hasn't be born again. You don't need grace to deny wrong acts!
