Medal Needed?

"I helped my Wife bath the kids today". Kids that belong to you both, or the ones she brought from her mothers house?

"I helped my Wife with the dishes today". The plates you used to eat the Semo and Afang soup she joyfully and dutifully prepared for you after an exhausting day at work.

"I helped my wife wash clothes today", "I helped my Wife do this, I helped my wife do that"... 

Pls Sir, what exactly do you now want? A Medal?

I once lived with two wonderful roommates, Edo-game Oshios Promise, a.k.a the beans Man, and Adu Patrick a.k.a G.O (my own Alias? I remembered to forget it oh). We never really had clear cut roles at home per say. It wasn't all rosy, but I can tell you this, it was great and fun. Each of us just used our brains. If I woke up in the morning and swept the house, the next person did the dishes, the other person might decide to cook or clean the bathroom. When I did the dishes for instance, I didn't think I was helping anybody in particular. After all, somebody cooked the food ni, we stayed together, we were roommates. If G.O swept, he wasn't helping me, he was helping US. Everybody contributed.

Sir, I ask again, what do you want? A Medal?

Any Service you render in your home is as much for you as it is for her!

PS: I Believe a woman should be able to keep her house, feed her husband and ensure her home is neat and all, and not slyly transfer her roles to her husband out of laziness.

The ONLY point I seek to make here is that rendering service as a Man in your home is as much a help to you as it is for your wife. It is a help for everybody (you, her and your kids) and not just her!

I've thought about this for a while now, but I recently decided to check it up and I'll share what I learnt about the science. So, how do I start this post? Emmm... Okay, let me lay a foundation. First and foremost, my God is a Great God. Secondly, He is not a lazy God, and; Thirdly, He is thoughtful. Passing by a church over the weekend, my thoughts revolved about a noticeable trend that have stayed in Nigeria, I believe for about a decade or so. You must have observed same. Churches in recent years now use Religious broadcasting (which is broadcasting by religious organizations, usually with a religious message) to conduct LIVE services. So, a head quarter church in any part of the country can easily broadcast to any of their satellite churches, and you see people in this satellite churches agreeing and seeing visible results. Several years ago, people will never try that. They will wonder why you should be looking at somebody in a box, and be dancing, singing and even believe same for miracles. What foolishness? Some days ago (Tuesday, the 16th of January, to be precise), I got an idea which I shared with the members of the LPI WhatsApp Group. I was inspired to write four Positivity Quotes which I'll share here. I and a friend discussed about this today, and he disagreed wholly, until I showed him the Word. I once used to pray like this whenever we were to go into an 'anointing service.' “We invite the Holy Spirit into this place.” “The Holy Spirit really showed up this morning!” If you have been a Christian for any amount of time, you have no doubt heard these expressions. In fact, you have probably said at least one of them yourself. I know I have! Many believers today often open up church services or worship meetings with prayers like “come, Holy Spirit!” Yet I suspect these prayers may not need to be prayed. Success Story: How I went from a CGPA of 2.29 to 4.00 within a Semester

This is a Success Story shared by Olusola O'sola Fapohunda, a graduate of the Federal University of Technology, Akure. ----- In early 2010, I went with about four other guys in my department - to visit our level registration officer. We wanted to check our result. Each one of us, was with a paper and a pen. The lecturer in charge asked for our matriculation numbers and one after the other, he was reeling off grades, GPA and CGPA. He eventually got to me and I heard a digit that sounded like I've been shot. God! Me! 2.29. I've earned myself Grade E in some three unit courses and my best course was APH301, which I had a B with a score of 69.
