Sports this week:
The 2017 FIFA Confederations Cup begins today, June 17, and ends on Sunday, July 2. The tournament is made up of 8 countries from 6 confederations with Russia, qualifying automatically as the 2018 FIFA World Cup host. Other countries includes the winners of the FIFA confederation championship (Australia, Cameroon, Chile, Mexico, New Zealand, Portugal) and the 2014 FIFA World Cup Winner, Germany.
Russia takes on New Zealand, this evening.

The English Premier League fixtures for the 2017/2018 season was released on Wednesday, 14 June. League champions, Chelsea, hosts Burnley at Stamford bridge. Other fixtures for the top six teams last season are:
Newcastle vs Tottenham
Brighton vs Manchester City
Watford vs Liverpool
Arsenal vs Leicester
Manchester United vs West ham
Newcastle vs Tottenham
Brighton vs Manchester City
Watford vs Liverpool

Everton has the toughest opening five fixtures, with consecutive games from the second week of the league against Manchester city, Chelsea, Tottenham and Manchester United.
Huddersfield, the newly promoted team not mentioned in the fixtures above will face Crystal Palace on the EPL opening week.
The League kicks off on Saturday, 12 August.

In the transfer market;
On Wednesday, June 14, Manchester United completed the signing of Victor Lindelöf (22-years old Swedish centre back) from Benfica in a four year deal worth almost £40m.
On Thursday, June 15, Everton signed Jordan Pickford, 23-years old England goalkeeper from Sunderland in a five year deal, and a club record transfer of about £25m which could rise to about £30m, and would make the player the world's third most expensive goalkeeper.
On same day, 24-years old Netherlands midfielder and formerly Ajax player, Davy Klaassen, signed for Everton, in a five year deal worth £23.6m
