Today is International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking.
The theme for this year is: "Listen First - Listening to children and youth is the first step to help them grow healthy and safe."

Drug abuse and Illicit drugs have severe impact on health, development, peace and security. Drug use helps to worsen health challenges such as hepatitis, tuberculosis, HIV. Drug trafficking supports money laundering and terrorism.

Let us say NO to Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking!

This week, I'll do a piece on health to mark this event.

To learn, unlearn and relearn is a great path to personal growth. The room was packed with "hungry folks" as the music played and men reminiscent through their yonder days. Step by step, the mind travelled back to where it all began. The events that shaped us unveiled. We reached out to the files, dusted them and gave a positive meaning to every snap shot captured. You see, nobody is really bad, people just do bad things. Ted Bundy was known to all who knew him as a charming man. He was a volunteer at a suicide hotline and a college graduate. A lot of us have become used to using salt to kill earthworms when we encounter any in our houses. I've thought about this for a while now, but I recently decided to check it up and I'll share what I learnt about the science.
