When life rejects you as a waste of lemon, shake off the tag and GROW up into a lemonade! I grew up to my early teenage in Ilorin, Kwara state, Nigeria and countless times, I saw my mum poured cooking waste water containing tomato and vegetable seeds into a corner of our backyard through the kitchen window. You are complaining that he promised to call, and never did. Even when you called him, he didn't pick up or return your calls. My sister, what were you expecting? On the first day you guys went out, you told him about how your dad is retired, how your mum is also retired, and has hypertension which needs constant medication and gulps most of the little money you earn, how you have six siblings waiting for you to get married so they can go to school, how your father's house in the village is uncompleted.. I and a friend discussed about this today, and he disagreed wholly, until I showed him the Word. I once used to pray like this whenever we were to go into an 'anointing service.' “We invite the Holy Spirit into this place.” “The Holy Spirit really showed up this morning!” If you have been a Christian for any amount of time, you have no doubt heard these expressions. In fact, you have probably said at least one of them yourself. I know I have! Many believers today often open up church services or worship meetings with prayers like “come, Holy Spirit!” Yet I suspect these prayers may not need to be prayed. Success Story: How I went from a CGPA of 2.29 to 4.00 within a Semester

This is a Success Story shared by Olusola O'sola Fapohunda, a graduate of the Federal University of Technology, Akure. ----- In early 2010, I went with about four other guys in my department - to visit our level registration officer. We wanted to check our result. Each one of us, was with a paper and a pen. The lecturer in charge asked for our matriculation numbers and one after the other, he was reeling off grades, GPA and CGPA. He eventually got to me and I heard a digit that sounded like I've been shot. God! Me! 2.29. I've earned myself Grade E in some three unit courses and my best course was APH301, which I had a B with a score of 69. Our present society is a mixture of different persons of different family values. That's one of the major reasons why people have different understanding of an issue or situation. One from a family with high personal and moral values may not agree with the other who has his or her own values, and who feels they are justified and right. You see situations where people can't relate because of their parallel opinions and beliefs which are antagonist to each other. You see situations where people "mind their business" because they feel that the actions and activities of other persons, has no significant effect on them. I have my thoughts about "Prayer". Personally, I had believed more on faith and confidence, than on Prayer. I say this because I've come across a number of persons who believe so much on Prayer, but cannot inspire or give someone some positive vibes in a time of difficulty. You see people who are fast to advise one to pray (and probably fast) when one shares a situation or personal challenge, without doing some brain work and examining physical factors that could've led to the person's challenge and then trying to ensure those physical factors are taken care of before going spiritual. Personally, when talking to people, once I'm trying to relate something with you and you're fast to throw in that spiritual leg, I stop and I'll probably not relate stuffs with you next time. I prefer one relates realistically and then back it up with some spirituality, than one trying to make a whole case of spirituality! Anyway, Prayer, Faith, Confidence were all mean...

If you have been dreaming of the perfect home, perfect relationship, (you know - all sunshine and rainbow; the lady kissed the frog and it turned into a handsome prince (Lol); they got married and went to live in his castle and they lived happily ever after) Think again, well. The living happily ever after is a great relationship goal and quite possible but to assume all will be all sunshine and flowers every minute of the day, wouldn't be that cool. You will offend and be offended, as long as you are two different individuals, there will be cause for offending and forgiving.
