Some years ago, I began to have some thoughts about life. Everyday, we come across people who put up false happiness. Everyone's trying to be truly happy, and everyone surely deserves that, because there's no life without happiness. But a lot of persons are much unhappy inside than they seem to be. Sometimes the pain they feel deep inside gets to a threshold, where they can't keep on putting up false happiness, and their true feelings are more often expressed. For a good number of persons, they redefine happiness, and their definition of happiness does not bring them true happiness, though it feels so at the beginning, but at the end, it only adds to the pain they already feel. I am a member of "The Let's Talk About Series" community. I'll be sharing notes from one of the sessions we had this year. The session was on Olajumoke Adenowo. ---------- (Diligent Amaka speaking) Olajumoke Olufunmilola Adenowo (born in 1968) is an award-winning Nigerian architect, entrepreneur, and philanthropist, as well as a speaker, radio host, and author. She is the founder of the boutique architecture and interior design firm AD Consultin, based in Lagos, Nigeria. CNN described her as "Africa's Starchitect" and The Guardian (Nigeria) has described her as "the face of Architecture in Nigeria. Adenowo has several philanthropic ventures. In 1999, she founded the Awesome Treasures Foundation (ATF), a faith-based NGO in Lagos, Nigeria. So I picked this movie as the first I'll write about on this label. I've watched lot of movies, deleted some, but this is one of those I find it difficult to delete. I just have to delete some others to create space for some more movies I want to watch.. This is one of the movies I'll recommend if you are looking for one to give you some motivation. Rags is a musical film, starring a number of characters, two of which are most outstanding. Charlie Prince (Max Schneider) and Kadee Worth (Keke Palmer) both got musical talents, but of different financial backgrounds. Real Faith is Concrete and Evidential

Our faith as Christians is not misguided or misdirected, God did not ask us to have faith on something that does not work or that is nonexistent. Everything we believe God for already is and have been proven to be reproducible. People have believed for the same things you believe God for and have or are getting them continually. The problem is we and not the word of God. Do this anytime you feel your faith is tested. Walk randomly into your church and ask people randomly if they have ever believed God for what you are believing and have received. The results have always been and will continue. Our faith is not guess work, it is not uncertain, it is not speculation, it is not luck or chance. We believe God for what already is, have been and is been received continually by others. I am skinny and I don't like cold. My lips quiver, my speech seizes, my nose shoots out mucus with every sneeze and I think my metabolism stops too, except my kidneys. It starts to produce urine like a liquor factory. The toilet must be within few paces away. Where there's no toilet, I can't handle myself when you put me in a cool room. My feet grow numb, I may have to postpone my presence at a meeting or a discussion to use the bath or the bush. I can cope with no fan or air conditioner all year long. Just give me a damn sweater and a wooly duvet, I'll be good for all seasons! But there is another type of cold I've grown used to. It's the place my unconventional ideas push me when I ever open my mouth. There is a particular message that can only be transmitted through you because it is uniquely encoded within your soul. Some people might recognize your potential but what they see is just a glimpse or at best is just the surface of the vast depth of potential in you. You're the only one who knows the depths of your desire and you are the only one creating roadblocks for yourself. Bring that message to life. Some people's lives depend on it. Your fear and procrastination is not only causing you pain but it is affecting so many people who would benefit from your wisdom. Procrastination is a selfish endeavor. Somebody somewhere is waiting for those kind words you have to say. Somebody somewhere is waiting to be inspired by your light.
