You have a Brain, Young people

Young people listen...

You may not have the best school or opportunities like me, but at least you have something like Nigeria at the moment which is a shithole. Yet, we can make this shithole a huge vast intellectual brain reserve. The metaphor of the shithole is that it is a conduit a passage for remnant. When I was a kid, I saw the Germans convert shit to energy for cooking and fertiliser.

You have a brain young people, use it. Young Nigerians, we do not have a future in our present state. Let us start creating one. The beautiful thing is that we have all the resources we ever need.. to start with... And that is enough problem, yeah and as long as there are problems, huge problems in Nigeria, then the future is bright, as we take responsibility.

This century, people do not want to know whose muscle is stronger, but whose brain is smarter, active. We are in the age of the brain revolution.

This is a Success Story shared by Olusola O'sola Fapohunda, a graduate of the Federal University of Technology, Akure. ----- In early 2010, I went with about four other guys in my department - to visit our level registration officer. We wanted to check our result. Each one of us, was with a paper and a pen. The lecturer in charge asked for our matriculation numbers and one after the other, he was reeling off grades, GPA and CGPA. He eventually got to me and I heard a digit that sounded like I've been shot. God! Me! 2.29. I've earned myself Grade E in some three unit courses and my best course was APH301, which I had a B with a score of 69. One from a family with high personal and moral values may not agree with the other who has his or her own values, and who feels they are justified and right.
