Light through your words

This quote has been one of my favourites from the day I came across it:

"Today will never come again. Be a blessing. Be a friend. Encourage someone. Take time to care. Let your words heal and not wound"

Words are very powerful. Words affects the "mind". Words tells who you are. Words can inspire Success and failure as well. A word from you can bring a change in someone's life and make that person to be eternally grateful to you, many years after.

How do you use your words? How much positive words do you say about yourself? How much positive words do you inspire others with? In your conversations, do you think before you speak? Even during casual conversations, words matter. Someone listening to you can derive motivation, or can get discouraged..

"Handle them carefully, for words have more power than atom bombs" (Pearl Strachan Hurd)

"Be careful what you say. You can say something hurtful in ten seconds, but ten years later, the wounds are still there" (Joel Osteen)

"Your words have power. Speak words that are kind, loving, positive, uplifting, encouraging, and life-giving" (Unknown)

"Kind words can be short and easy to speak, but their echoes are truly endless" (Mother Teresa)

"No matter what anybody tells you, words and ideas can change the world" (John Keating)

"If we understood the power of our thoughts, we would guard them more closely. If we understood the awesome power of our words, we would prefer silence to almost anything negative. In our thoughts and words, we create our own weaknesses and our own strengths. Our limitations and joys begin in our hearts. We can always replace negative with positive" (Betty Eadie)

Let your words be light!
