Success Story: How I went from a CGPA of 2.29 to 4.00 within a Semester

This is a Success Story shared by Olusola O'sola Fapohunda, a graduate of the Federal University of Technology, Akure. ----- In early 2010, I went with about four other guys in my department - to visit our level registration officer. We wanted to check our result. Each one of us, was with a paper and a pen. The lecturer in charge asked for our matriculation numbers and one after the other, he was reeling off grades, GPA and CGPA. He eventually got to me and I heard a digit that sounded like I've been shot. God! Me! 2.29. I've earned myself Grade E in some three unit courses and my best course was APH301, which I had a B with a score of 69. You may come across a good person, a sincere lover, who's interested in you, but you're not ready at that moment, and end up losing him to someone else who's ready.. You're not ready because of the negative configuration that your past relationship(s) has created for your mind and it really shows in your attitude (I personally always detect it no matter how much you try to hide it). You have to take responsibility for the outcomes of your past relationships. And by this, you take POSITIVE actions not to be a victim of such again. Look into yourself critically, you'll see the wrong choices you made that led to the failed relationship(s). Learn from it, and make a wiser choice when someone comes seeking your attention. A few years ago, I was in a relationship with someone. My clearest memory of it; the recollection that is etched in brain matter was our first kiss. I remember because I had a funny thought while being kissed. It was like I stepped out of my body to watch the proceedings and the thought that popped into my mind was, "Mills & Boons novels got it right." That was it. I felt the proverbial electricity and my knees shook. That had never happened to me before. I decided to analyse why. You know me. I never miss a learning moment. I had been friends with the guy for a long time. We were in sync mentally and emotionally before we ever got physical. At the root of our relationship was friendship. So I picked this movie as the first I'll write about on this label. I've watched lot of movies, deleted some, but this is one of those I find it difficult to delete. I just have to delete some others to create space for some more movies I want to watch.. This is one of the movies I'll recommend if you are looking for one to give you some motivation. Rags is a musical film, starring a number of characters, two of which are most outstanding. Charlie Prince (Max Schneider) and Kadee Worth (Keke Palmer) both got musical talents, but of different financial backgrounds. About two months ago, a lady walked into the office and demanded for my time. We sat and exchanged pleasantries. I can’t forget it easily, her voice texture happened to be one of the finest I've had conversations with that time, well filtered. I complimented, but her response did not commensurate my altruistic praise. At least, I deserved “thank you Sir” Or, remove the sir “Bros, thank you”. I was worried why a grown lady like her did not understand etiquette. She asked, are you Christopher Peter? I said Yes.
