Productivity is better than Activity and Principle is better than formula. Principles will birth productivity whereas Formulas will only produce activity. For example, It is possible to sleep four hours a day and achieve significantly less than someone who sleeps eight hours a day, while claiming anybody that sleeps above four hours is lazy. When it comes to success, there might be principles but not formulas (I mean mindless copying). Some people just copy too much, not seeing that a lot of factors are involved. The most important thing is to learn the principles and tailor it to your unique situation. Make your work time count. I read this book about four years ago, and it was a big turning point for me. Much was learnt, I'll share few of them today. You should check it out. The lessons: Death begins when one stops learning, and ageing starts from one's mind, not one's body. One remains young as far as he or she keeps learning; One starts crashing once he or she stops pushing. One's ability to excel mentally is paralyzed once one stops trying and accepts that the results obtained is the best he or she can attain; One's life becomes a burden when one's life is void of progress. And when one's brain isn't working towards anything, it becomes a weight on the body. The brain is motivated when it sees something ahead, something to work towards for; One's success does not demand prayer and fasting, as much as engaging one's senses positively. The worst thing you can ask from wealthy people or those in position of authority is money, because they wouldn't give you enough if they even give you at all. That doesn't mean that they are wicked people who don't like to give or help, it is because they are wealthy not rich, so they don't have much to give you. Success Story: How I went from a CGPA of 2.29 to 4.00 within a Semester

This is a Success Story shared by Olusola O'sola Fapohunda, a graduate of the Federal University of Technology, Akure. ----- In early 2010, I went with about four other guys in my department - to visit our level registration officer. We wanted to check our result. Each one of us, was with a paper and a pen. The lecturer in charge asked for our matriculation numbers and one after the other, he was reeling off grades, GPA and CGPA. He eventually got to me and I heard a digit that sounded like I've been shot. God! Me! 2.29. I've earned myself Grade E in some three unit courses and my best course was APH301, which I had a B with a score of 69. It was World Sickle Cell Day some hours ago (June 19), so I decided to do a piece on Sickle Cell Anaemia (a Sickle Cell Disease). Our Blood consists of four major distinct types of blood cells, one of which is the Red blood cells. These Red blood cells contains a protein, Haemoglobin, which is responsible for transporting Oxygen around the body. (Of course, we know we can't live without Oxygen!). This protein, Haemoglobin, in its normal form (Haemoglobin A), enables the Red blood cells have a normal shape (disc shape), but when in a mutated form (Haemoglobin S), results in Red blood cells that are sickle-shaped. The normal disc-shaped Red blood cells are flexible and can easily move through small and large blood cells and around the body to supply oxygen to various body tissues and organs, but the sickle-shaped Red blood cells can't easily do this.
